WASHINGTON, D.C.—Womble Bond Dickinson announced today that Jeffrey B. McIntyre has joined the firm’s Patent Prosecution & Litigation group as a partner in the DC office. He has decades of experience in all aspects of patent law, focusing primarily on chemical-related technologies.
McIntyre’s practice covers a broad range of complex patent prosecution and defense matters, including strategic counsel on due diligence, freedom-to-operate, and pre-litigation contexts and negotiations. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and has experience leading trials in district courts across the country. He is also a Certified Licensing Professional.
A chemistry and biology graduate of Cornell University, McIntyre received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law. In addition to the USPTO, he is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Michigan. He joins Womble from one of the country’s largest law firms focused exclusively on IP law, where he was a partner in the Litigation and Chemical departments. He was also active in that firm’s Pharmaceuticals, Opinions and Counseling practice groups.
