ROANOKE, VA—The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to announce that Roanoke partner Todd A. Leeson was named to Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2021 class of “Leaders in the Law” and Richmond associate D. Scott Foster Jr. was named to the publication’s 2021 class of “Up & Coming Lawyers.” All recipients will be honored during an awards ceremony on October 19 and will be profiled in the publication.
Leeson is a member of the firm’s Employment and Labor practice and advises Virginia employers in employment and labor law matters and litigation. He regularly defends clients in Virginia courts and before government agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Department of Labor (DOL), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Virginia Division of Human Rights (DHR). Leeson regularly drafts, enforces, and/or litigates non-compete agreements and executive employment contracts. In addition, Leeson has experience representing management in labor union matters including union avoidance campaigns, unfair labor practice charges and labor arbitrations.
