WEST PALM BEACH, FL— Ward Damon partner Caryn A. Stevens has been recently appointed to serve a two-year term on the board of directors for the Jewish Women’s Foundation of the Greater Palm Beaches (JWF). Stevens is a marital and family law attorney who participated in JWF’s Young Leaders Society, later became a Trustee of the organization, and now will use her skills and experience to serve on the board. The JWF works to advance the status of women and girls in the U.S. and Israel through strategic grantmaking, advocacy and education, and leadership development programs to create long-lasting social change.
Stevens previously spent 12 years working as a mental health counselor and school guidance counselor, and has assisted thousands of children, families and couples through difficult circumstances and life changes. Stevens is a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Bar Family Law Section and Palm Beach County Bar Association, and graduated from the Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2019. She received an M.S. and Ed.S. in Counseling & Human Systems as well as a B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University, and earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University.
