DALLAS—Preston Moore, a Dallas-based associate in the Corporate Department of international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, has been named the Firm’s 12th Lend-A-Lawyer.
Weil created the pioneering Lend-A-Lawyer program in 2005 to support the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP). Each Lend-A-Lawyer is sent to DVAP’s office to provide pro bono legal service for a two-month period – while continuing to receive full pay and benefits from Weil.
Prior to serving as the Lend-A-Lawyer, Moore primarily represented public and private companies and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He joins DVAP after being a consistent volunteer at the program’s clinics.
