DALLAS, TX—Griffin Baker, a Dallas-based associate in the Tax Department of international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, has been named the Firm’s 14th Lend-A-Lawyer. In this capacity, he will spend the next two months embedded on-site at the offices of Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas providing full-time, pro bono legal services to indigent clients of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP).
In his practice at Weil, Griffin represents Firm clients on tax aspects of various corporate transactions, including serving on the Weil team advising private equity clients on billion-dollar acquisitions and divestitures.
