Talk of the Town is one of the most popular sections in Attorney at Law Magazine. Lawyers, law firms and legal associations are invited to submit news items for online publication. See our news guidelines and restrictions below. *

We recommend you submit a headshot or image to be included with the press release. Images should be 1000px x 667px minimum. Horizontal images preferred.

Once submitted and approved by our staff, your submission will appear on the Talk of the Town page.

    Publication Guidelines

    All submitted news items will be reviewed by our editorial team prior to publication. Please note, only lawyer or law firm announcements will be published. Only bar association, legal organization or nonprofit awards (no media outlet awards) will be published. If you have any further questions, please contact us at [email protected].

    No, all news submissions are reviewed by the editorial staff to determine if the above outlined editorial guidelines are met. Most submitted content is published.

    Yes, submitted press releases are reviewed and edited and/or cut by our editorial team. If an error is made in the revision, please notify us via email at [email protected].

    The Talk of the Town section covers news announcements from lawyers and law firms. News announcements from legal vendors will not be considered for publication. Additionally, while the Talk of the Town highlights lawyer awards, they are limited to industry honors and not media awards. 

    Talk of the Town is updated daily. Typically, your press release will be published within 24 hours of submission. If your press release hasn’t been published in that timeframe, please contact us at [email protected].

    If you submitted a headshot and it was not included in published Talk of the Town, the image may have been too small to be included.
