Meet Adam Johnson
Adam Johnson is a partner with The Johnson Firm. He considers it his purpose to ensure those wrongly convicted, underrepresented or overcharged receive a strong defense.
Adam has a reputation for being an overly prepared advocate who represents those charged with serious and minor offenses with the same strong work ethic.
Over the course of his career, he has achieved a series of overturned convictions, including multiple life sentences. Additionally, every case he has taken before a jury (in state and federal courts) has resulted in a not guilty verdict. He has even successfully argued cases before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Adam earned his law degree from Southern University after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business management from Louisiana State University.
He clerked for the Honorable Judge Robert Wyatt and the Honorable Judge Ronald Ware before joining his father’s firm – The Johnson Firm – in 2009.
Adam is the president-elect of the SWLA Bar Association and was previously the president of the Young Lawyers Division. He serves on the Louisiana State Bar Association House of Delegates and has received many awards including the LSBA Leadership and President Awards.
