A.J. Miller

Andrew "A.J." Miller is a partner at Miller Tourtlotte Law, PLLC, where he represents individuals in personal injury, workers' compensation, and insurance bad faith cases. A Billings native, he graduated with honors from Billings Central Catholic High School before earning both his undergraduate degree in English Literature and his law degree from the University of Montana.

Mr. Miller's commitment to justice is rooted in experience on every side of a case. He began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Gregory Todd of Montana's Thirteenth Judicial District, then gained an insider's view of insurance litigation as a defense attorney at the Brown Law Firm P.C., where he first met his future partner, Matt Tourtlotte. In 2015, he shifted his practice to representing injured individuals, and in 2024, he and Matt Tourtlotte founded Miller Tourtlotte Law, PLLC, where he continues the mission that matters most to him: securing justice and fair compensation for people whose lives have been upended by negligence or a workplace accident. Since 2024, Mr. Miller has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Workers' Compensation Law – Claimants, and Miller Tourtlotte Law is recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Law Firms.

Billings is not just where Mr. Miller practices — it is where he grew up, and serving the community extends well beyond the courtroom. He currently sits on the boards of the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools and Art House Billings, and previously served on the board of Billings Catholic Schools. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and dusting off his bass guitar for the occasional Clintons performance.
