Meet Amy Witherite
Background & Career
Raised and educated in Fort Worth, Texas, Amy Witherite began her path as a standout scholarship athlete in one of the nation’s top 10 women’s swimming programs. Her early discipline and competitive drive carried into her legal career, where she has become one of Texas’s most recognized personal injury attorneys.
Amy earned her law degree from Texas Tech School of Law in 1993, graduating cum laude. She began her legal career at one of the oldest and largest law firms in Texas, gaining broad litigation experience. She later moved to an insurance defense firm, where she gained valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate, defend, and minimize claims—experience she now uses to advocate for injured clients.
In 2001, Amy co-founded Eberstein Witherite, dedicating her practice to representing victims of car and truck accidents. After nearly two decades of advocating for injury victims, she expanded her practice into Georgia, founding what is now known as Witherite Law Group.
