Meet Andrew C. Goodwin
Andrew C. Goodwin is the founder and Principal Attorney of Rhodium Law, a Cleveland-based firm serving busy professionals and business owners across Ohio in estate planning, elder law, probate and trust administration, business law, and asset protection.
Before founding Rhodium Law, Mr. Goodwin practiced at a large firm, focusing on commercial agreements, intellectual property, and privacy and cybersecurity matters, and served as in-house counsel at a global healthcare system with a similar practice focus. Before entering the legal profession, he spent more than a decade in information technology, including senior roles with responsibility for operations and procurement.
The turning point in his legal career came during the pandemic, when his mother was diagnosed with dementia. Mr. Goodwin left his in-house role to become her full-time caregiver, and he experienced firsthand how hard it is for families to find estate planning and elder law counsel who treat them as more than a transaction. He founded Rhodium Law to be the firm he wished his own family could have found.
