Britton Morrell

Since 1995, Mr. Morrell has represented injured workers in workers’ compensation, social security disability, and employment law cases. He has advocated for clients in Administrative Law Courts across Colorado, Kansas, Alaska, and Wyoming, as well as in Colorado District Court, U.S. Federal Court, and the Colorado Supreme Court, handling workers’ compensation claims at every level.

Mr. Morrell’s approach is to relentlessly pursue all legal benefits for his clients, leveraging advanced technology to outpace opponents efficiently and effectively. His cases have garnered attention from local, national, and international media, including National Public Radio and 60 Minutes.

Originally from Mexico City, Mexico, Mr. Morrell is fluent in Spanish and deeply understands Latin American culture and customs. His studies in Mexican Law at the Universidad de Guanajuato, through the University of San Diego, enhance his ability to guide immigrant and resident communities through the U.S. legal system.

Mr. Morrell earned his Law Degree from the University of Denver, College of Law in 1995 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado, College of Business in 1992. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1990 to 1998, earning the NLORA Outstanding Recruit Award from a class of 550 and holding a Top Secret Security Clearance while stationed with CINCUSNAVEUR in London, supporting logistics for U.S. Naval Forces in Europe and the Middle East.

A frequent speaker on workers’ compensation for the Continuing Legal Education Program, Mr. Morrell also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Northern Colorado, teaching Legal Reasoning and Legal Research & Writing in 2001 and 2006, and Constitutional Law annually since 2006.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Morrell enjoys traveling with his five children, photography, filmmaking, solving puzzles, and working on what he believes will be the great American novel.
