Bryan Brown

Bryan C. Brown is a criminal defense attorney based in Lawrenceville, Georgia and the founder of Bryan Brown Law, LLC. He represents clients facing everything from traffic offenses and probation violations to serious felony charges. Before opening his firm, Bryan served as a Managing Assistant District Attorney in the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit, where he supervised a trial team, trained new prosecutors, reviewed case files, and handled high-profile and post-conviction cases. His years as a prosecutor taught him how the state builds its cases and how to identify the weaknesses that can make a difference in court.

Bryan’s experience also includes time in the Special Victims Unit, where he prosecuted sensitive adult and child sex crime cases. Those cases demanded professionalism, preparation, and discretion, skills that continue to guide his work as a defense attorney. Earlier in his career, he served as both an Assistant Solicitor General and an Assistant District Attorney in Muscogee County, managing hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases from start to finish. Having seen the system from both sides of the courtroom, Bryan brings a well-rounded and realistic perspective to every client he represents.

His path to the legal profession was not typical. Bryan grew up in a trailer park in Alabama and was the first in his family to graduate from college. At 19, he was arrested and placed on probation, an experience that changed the course of his life. It gave him an understanding of what it feels like to be scared, judged, and unsure of what comes next. That experience now shapes his approach to every case, which is built on honesty, empathy, and preparation.

Bryan believes in telling clients the truth about their situation, not just what they want to hear. He does not make empty promises or sell false hope. Instead, he focuses on giving people real guidance, helping them understand their options, and building a strategy that makes sense for their circumstances. He knows that good people can make bad choices and that one mistake should not define a person’s entire future.

Before earning his law degree from Emory University School of Law, Bryan graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is admitted to practice before the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Today, through Bryan Brown Law, he helps people in Gwinnett County and throughout Georgia move forward from some of the most difficult moments in their lives with honesty, respect, and a plan that works.
