Meet Carey Wood
Carey Wood is a California lemon law attorney representing consumers in disputes with automobile manufacturers over defective vehicles, breach of warranty, and fraud. Her practice focuses on claims under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, handled through all stages of litigation, including bench and jury trials, in both state and federal court.
Ms. Wood was admitted to the bar in 2013 and began her career in complex civil litigation and trial work. Before focusing on lemon law, she represented clients in employment law, elder abuse, personal injury, and civil rights cases. Her interest in consumer advocacy started even before law school, working in civil litigation on behalf of individual plaintiffs.
