Meet Charles Flaxman
Charles Flaxman built Flaxman Law Group on a simple conviction: that injured people deserve an advocate who understands exactly how the other side thinks. Before he ever argued a case, he spent ten years working as an insurance claims adjuster — sitting on the very side of the table he now opposes. That decade taught him how carriers calculate risk, where they look to trim a payout, and what makes them decide a claim is worth settling fairly. Four decades into his legal career, that early training still shapes how he prepares every file, anticipates every tactic, and pushes for the full value of a client's losses.
A 1981 graduate of Nova University Law School, Charles finished magna cum laude in the top two percent of his class and served on Law Review before launching a practice that would eventually span two states. Over the years he has represented thousands of people harmed by car wrecks, dangerous property conditions, medical errors, and other acts of negligence, earning admission to practice before Florida's trial and appellate courts, the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals. His induction into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum — reserved for attorneys who have secured seven-figure results — reflects the caliber of outcomes he has delivered.
What clients tend to remember, though, isn't the credentials but the way he treats them. Charles has a habit of translating legal jargon into plain language, walking people through their options without rushing them, and staying reachable when worry strikes at odd hours. That approach is reflected in the consistent five-star reviews praising his responsiveness, his candor, and his willingness to fight. He remains active in the broader profession as well, holding memberships in the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Florida Bar's Workers' Compensation Section, among others.
A longtime South Florida resident, Charles founded the firm to bring personalized, genuinely compassionate representation to families navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives. Today, with offices in Miami, Hollywood, Homestead, and now Denver, he continues to extend that same standard of care to clients across Florida and Colorado — proof that a practice rooted in one community can grow without losing the personal attention that defined it from the start.
