Christopher M. Joseph

Christopher Joseph is the Managing Member of Joseph, Hollander & Craft and a trial lawyer with extensive experience handling criminal defense, asset forfeiture, judicial discipline, and complex civil litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in federal and state courts throughout Kansas, including matters venued in Wichita, Topeka, and the Kansas City region.

Mr. Joseph’s practice is grounded in rigorous preparation and strategic case development. He is known for approaching litigation with a disciplined, evidence-driven mindset, focusing early on investigation, motion practice, and long-term positioning. Clients rely on him not only for courtroom advocacy, but for clear, direct guidance that allows them to make informed decisions at every stage of a case.

After completing a federal clerkship with the Honorable John W. Lungstrum from 2000 to 2002, Mr. Joseph entered private practice with a strong command of federal procedure and judicial decision-making. Since then, he has litigated a wide range of criminal and civil matters, including cases involving significant legal, financial, and reputational risk. His work includes successful outcomes at the trial and appellate levels.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Joseph is actively involved in the legal community. He is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and has served on numerous judicial and advisory bodies, including committees of the Kansas Judicial Council and federal merit selection panels. His service reflects a longstanding commitment to the integrity and development of the justice system.

Mr. Joseph earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Kansas School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Wichita State University. He is admitted to practice in Kansas, multiple federal district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
