Meet D. Seamus Kaskela
D. Seamus Kaskela is the founding partner of Kaskela Law, a client-focused firm dedicated exclusively to investor protection and complex securities litigation. With nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Kaskela has built his career representing investors in securities class action litigation, shareholder derivative litigation, and merger and acquisition litigation across the country, including in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He founded Kaskela Law in 2018 with a deliberate focus on delivering a more personable, hands-on litigation experience — and since doing so, he has personally assisted investors in recovering over $500 million while achieving significant corporate governance reforms at dozens of publicly traded companies.
Mr. Kaskela's credentials reflect both the depth and breadth of his legal and business acumen. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University (B.S., Sociology), Penn State University (MBA), and Rutgers Law School (J.D.), and he has also earned a Business Law Certificate from Cornell University. Prior to founding Kaskela Law, he spent over a decade at a prominent Philadelphia-area plaintiff's litigation firm, honing his skills in securities class action litigation, shareholder derivative litigation, and merger and acquisition litigation. Licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and representing investors nationwide, Mr. Kaskela brings a rare combination of courtroom experience, business insight, and client dedication to every matter he handles.
