Meet Damon J. Baldone
Damon J. Baldone is a lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana, with over 30 years of legal experience. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 1992 after a diverse academic career, including a B.S. in Biology from Nicholls State University, teaching biology and mathematics at both LSU and Nicholls State, and working in genetics research.
Damon represents clients across Houma, Terrebonne Parish, and surrounding Louisiana areas, specializing in personal injury, family law, and estate planning. As a Louisiana Family Law Attorney and Louisiana Estate Planning Attorney, he assists clients with family law matters, wills, trusts, and estate planning, while in personal injury cases he focuses on thorough investigation, evidence preservation, and identifying responsible parties. Beyond his legal practice, Damon has been deeply involved in his community, serving with the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, TARC, the Barataria-Terrebonne Estuary Foundation, and numerous other civic and charitable organizations. He has also contributed to national groups including the National Council of State Legislatures and the National Apartment Association. Damon currently serves on the board of the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center.
In his free time, Damon is an avid outdoorsman and pilot, reflecting his lifelong curiosity and dedication both in and outside of the courtroom.
