Founder Darwin F. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Sociology, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 1999. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2003. He began his legal career as a Senior Staff Attorney to the Honorable Michael P. Baird in Clayton County, Georgia, where he gained firsthand insight into the tactics insurance companies use to avoid paying injured workers and accident victims.
Motivated to make a meaningful impact, Mr. Johnson focused his practice on workers’ compensation law. In 2004, he partnered with attorney Louis B. Lusk, and together they spent five years advocating for injured individuals and challenging insurance companies on their behalf. Over the course of his career, Mr. Johnson has handled more than 10,000 cases and has secured over $250 million in settlements and awards across workers’ compensation and personal injury claims.
Today, the firm is known for its dedicated representation of injured workers before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation, as well as individuals pursuing personal injury claims resulting from negligence or misconduct. Licensed to practice in all State and Superior Courts throughout Georgia, the firm remains committed to delivering experienced, results-driven legal representation for every client it serves.
