Meet Frank Azar
Franklin D. Azar is the founder and president of Frank Azar Car & Truck Accident Lawyers. and one of the most widely recognized plaintiff trial lawyers in the Rocky Mountain region. Over a career spanning nearly four decades, he has built a national litigation practice focused on complex injury claims, large-scale class actions, and mass tort litigation involving corporate misconduct and defective products.
Mr. Azar’s work extends well beyond traditional personal injury litigation. He has played leading roles in wage-and-hour class actions against major employers, helping drive systemic changes in how companies compensate workers for overtime and missed breaks. His experience in high-impact litigation has also led to appointments on Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees in multidistrict proceedings, including the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant litigation, as well as extensive work involving pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices, and defective consumer products.
Throughout his career, Mr. Azar has pursued cases against some of the largest corporations in the country, including manufacturers of football helmets, automobiles, and medical products. His litigation history includes landmark verdicts and settlements in employment, product liability, and mass tort matters, as well as representation of whistleblowers in cases involving violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He has been appointed class counsel in more than 20 employment class actions and has represented clients from all 50 states.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Azar served as an Assistant District Attorney in Colorado’s Third Judicial District, becoming the youngest attorney ever appointed to that role. That early courtroom experience helped shape a career defined by trial readiness, strategic pressure on defendants, and a consistent focus on representing individuals and groups facing powerful corporate adversaries.
Mr. Azar earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Colorado and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, Texas, multiple federal district courts, and the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
