Meet Jason Hatfield
Jason M. Hatfield is the founder and managing attorney of the Law Office of Jason M. Hatfield, P.A., based in Springdale, Arkansas, with an additional office in Fort Smith. His practice focuses on personal injury, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, workers' compensation, and wrongful death cases throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Mr. Hatfield earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in 1991, a Master of Science in Food Science in 1994 — with his thesis published in the Journal of Food Quality — and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1997. Before entering law, he worked extensively in construction and poultry processing, experiences that gave him firsthand knowledge of the workplace hazards his clients face.
Since graduating from law school, Mr. Hatfield has tried numerous cases to jury in Arkansas Circuit Courts and federal courts and has successfully reversed trial court rulings at both the Arkansas Supreme Court and the Arkansas Court of Appeals. In 2009, he completed a three-week jury trial involving cancer-causing carcinogens, with his closing argument later quoted in the New York Times bestselling book Animal Factory by David Kirby.
Mr. Hatfield holds the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as a Mid-South Super Lawyer for over ten consecutive years, an honor given to the top five percent of attorneys. He was named Arkansas Personal Injury "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers in 2022 and was elected by his peers to the inaugural Board of Trustees for the Arkansas Bar Association in 2021 and as a Fellow to the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers in 2020.
He is an active member of the Arkansas Bar Association House of Delegates, the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and has testified before legislative committees on behalf of injured workers.
