Meet Jason Newfield
For the past two decades, Jason's legal career has been dedicated to fighting for people who have lost their ability to work, care for their families and engage in many of life’s activities, only to be told by large, impersonal, and powerful long term disability insurance companies that their claims are being denied.
Jason's practice is devoted to aggressively representing claimants in disability insurance claims and litigation, including ERISA, private and governmental policies of short and long term disability, long-term care, life insurance and health plans.
Newfield Law Group represent clients throughout the country and acts as local counsel to many firms who bring cases in our jurisdictions.
The drive Jason has is rooted in him being the proud son of Holocaust survivors. Fighting for people who need help and taking on those in power is in his DNA. Helping the deserved and fighting for justice drives him toward this niche practice. Having worked with thousands of claimants, and secured hundreds of millions of dollars for clients, Jason knows his clients would much prefer to continue working, be productive and support their families, rather than be reduced to a shell of themselves, physically, financially, and often emotionally.
His passion for fighting for those in need, coupled with the compassion developed for clients for more than two decades, is Newfield Law Group's mission: securing clients’ financial relief and providing them with peace of mind. These years of developing and honing a formula for success allows their firm to get the vast majority of our clients paid and avoids the need for expensive and protracted litigation.
Jason received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and was a member of the Hofstra Law Review. He is currently admitted to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, District of Connecticut, and Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Second and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Your case will not be passed along to a junior associate to handle. Mr. Newfield will be involved in every part of your case.
