Meet Jedediah A. Main
Jedediah "Jed" Main is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and the founder of The Main Law Firm, serving Orlando and Central Florida. He has been a trial lawyer for more than two decades.
Board certification in civil trial law is held by a small percentage of Florida attorneys. It requires substantial jury trial experience as lead counsel, peer review by the judges who presided over those trials and the lawyers who tried cases against him, and a written examination.
Jed began his career as a prosecutor with the Office of the State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, then spent several years on the defense side representing insurance companies. He knows how an adjuster values a claim, what gets written in a file, and which arguments get run at a set of medical records. He has used that knowledge on behalf of injured people since founding the firm.
The firm concentrates on serious and catastrophic injury cases: commercial truck and tractor-trailer collisions, car and motorcycle crashes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death. Jed's commercial vehicle work involves Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation violations, hours-of-service and electronic logging data, and broker and shipper liability.
Jed serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association and on its Legislative Committee, and has been faculty at the Al J. Cone Trial Advocacy Institute for three consecutive years, where he teaches other trial lawyers to depose commercial drivers and corporate safety directors.
Every client has his cell phone number. The consultation is free and there is no fee unless the firm recovers compensation.
