Jeremiah J.J. Talbott

Jeremiah "JJ" Talbott is the founding partner of the Law Office of J.J. Talbott, where he concentrates his practice in personal injury, workers' compensation, unpaid wages and overtime, wrongful termination, Social Security Disability, Family and Medical Leave Act claims, divorce and family law, probate, and general civil litigation. JJ earned his B.A. from the University of West Florida in 1994 and his J.D. from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law in 1997. He has been a member of the Alabama Bar since 1997 and the Florida Bar since 1998, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. In 2012, JJ became a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States—membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, a distinction achieved by fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers.

JJ is an active member of the legal community, belonging to the National Employment Lawyers Association (Florida Chapter), the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, and the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association. He has served on numerous bar association committees, including the Executive Council of the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association (2007–2008), as District A Chairman of the Florida Bar's Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee (2004–2006), and as Co-Chairman of the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association's Community Service Committee (2001–2007). JJ lives in Pensacola with his wife and two children.
