Joel Halvorsen

Joel Halvorsen is a partner and founder of Halvorsen Klote Davis, where he represents individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries due to accidents, negligence, and corporate wrongdoing. He founded the firm alongside Greg Klote and Nate Davis with a commitment to providing injured clients with high-quality legal representation and personal attention throughout their cases.

Joel brings valuable insight into injury litigation from his prior experience at a national defense firm, where he gained firsthand knowledge of how insurance companies and corporate defendants evaluate claims and use their resources to limit liability. He now uses that perspective to advocate for injury victims and pursue fair compensation, including in cases involving large corporations and insurance carriers. He has helped clients recover millions of dollars in compensation and has represented thousands of individuals and families.

Joel’s work has earned numerous professional recognitions. He has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year from 2018 through 2025 and named among The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 from 2017 through 2025. Joel earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and his B.S. from Marquette University. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and numerous federal courts across the United States.
