John A. "Tony" Ross, Jr.

John Anthony Ross, Jr. — known as "Tony" among friends and colleagues — is the managing attorney at Chandler Ross, Injury Attorneys, based in Denton, Texas, and serving clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. A native Texan, Mr. Ross was born and raised in Houston before relocating to the DFW metroplex to attend law school.

Mr. Ross earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with honors from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law) in 2005. He was licensed to practice in Texas in 2006 and admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2011. He opened his own law firm in 2007.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ross has represented thousands of individuals, families, and businesses across a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on personal injury, car and truck accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, premises liability, and wrongful death claims. His extensive trial experience spans everything from small claims matters to complex, multi-party litigation.

Beyond his practice, Mr. Ross regularly lectures law students, young attorneys, and fellow practitioners on various legal topics. Through his firm, he has provided over 75 law-office internships of six to twelve months to undergraduate and law school students, giving them hands-on experience in the operations of a working law firm. He also serves as an attorney mentor through the Texas Wesleyan School of Law Alumni Association and for UNT/TWU pre-law and law students.
