Meet Jon Tycko
Jonathan “Jon” Tycko, has represented individuals, Fortune 500 companies, privately held businesses and nonprofits in trial and appellate courts across the country. While he has handled a range of matters over the course of his 25-year career, he now focuses exclusively on helping whistleblowers expose fraud and corruption through qui tam litigation.
Jon’s whistleblower clients have exposed hundreds of millions of dollars in fraud involving healthcare, government contracts, custom duties, tariffs, banking and tax. His team has recovered more than $7 billion in more than 30 states across the country.
He has received various recognitions for his work and currently serves as the co-chair of the conference committee of the Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund. He is also on the executive committee of the Qui Tam Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice.
Before launching Tycko & Zavareei in 2002, Jon was an attorney with one of the nation’s top law firms. Outside of his private practice, he is an active member of the community. He has taught as an adjunct professor at George Washington University Law School. He is also a long-time member of the board of trustees of Studio Theatre, a nonprofit theater in D.C.
