Meet Jonathan Steele
Jonathan has dedicated his legal career to representing individuals who have been injured or killed due to abuse or neglect in nursing homes. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, Jonathan was drawn into nursing home litigation after witnessing his grandmother suffer abuse in a facility caused by understaffing and untrained employees. This personal experience shaped his commitment to advocating for victims and holding negligent nursing home companies accountable.
Since that time, Jonathan has exclusively focused his practice on representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. He believes that by holding facilities responsible for their promises of care, the standard of care can improve for everyone.
Before founding The Steele Law Firm in 2015, Jonathan gained valuable experience litigating cases for an international defense firm in Chicago, Illinois, and Kansas City, Missouri. During that time, he represented some of the world’s largest corporations and insurance companies in state and federal courts. His firsthand knowledge of how corporations and insurers attempt to conceal evidence and avoid accountability now provides him with a significant advantage when advocating for his clients.
Today, Jonathan applies that experience at The Steele Law Firm, LLC, where he is dedicated to seeking justice for individuals and families affected by nursing home abuse and neglect in Kansas and Missouri. He is a member in good standing of the state courts of Kansas and Missouri, as well as the United States District Courts in both states.
