Meet Joseph Ramos
Joseph Ramos, MD, JD, is the founder of Ramos Law and a licensed attorney and physician whose medical background provides a distinctive perspective in personal injury law. Before becoming an attorney, Dr. Ramos worked in emergency medicine, treating patients with serious and traumatic injuries and developing firsthand knowledge of how injuries can affect a person's health, quality of life, and long-term recovery.
His experience in medicine also included serving as a medical expert, preparing thousands of expert reports and testifying under oath more than 100 times. After seeing how important medical knowledge could be in personal injury cases, Dr. Ramos attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law while continuing to work in emergency medicine.
Today, he brings his medical and legal experience together at Ramos Law to help injured people understand both the medical and legal aspects of their cases. His approach emphasizes helping clients obtain appropriate medical care, accurately documenting the severity and long-term consequences of injuries, and clearly communicating that evidence to insurance companies, opposing counsel, and juries.
