Meet Justin Schnitzer
When federal workforce news breaks, editors call Justin Schnitzer. He has written on federal discipline for Government Executive, published analysis of Chevron deference and Schedule F for FEDweek, and given commentary to Forbes, NBC News, U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, and the ABA Journal. Behind the commentary sits the docket that earned it: since his 2013 admission to the Maryland Bar, his practice has centered on federal-sector employment law, from MSPB appeals and proposed-removal responses through petitions for review before the full Board, federal EEOC complaints, and FERS and OPM disability retirement claims.
His path into the field began at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he served as a judicial intern before moving into private employment practice and founding The Law Office of Justin Schnitzer. A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, he now leads a six-attorney firm from the Baltimore area, representing federal employees nationwide with the MSPB's Washington, D.C. regional office as home court.
