Krista G. LaFave

After spending time learning from circuit court judges and representing insurance companies, Krista LaFave joined Warshafsky in 2016, eager to represent people. Krista recognizes the importance of each claim to each client. She takes the time to explain complicated legal issues and ensure that clients understand their options and the process.

Krista was recognized as Best Lawyers: One to Watch in America (2025), selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, 2018-2024, selected to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, and the 2023 Recipient of the Wisconsin Association for Justice Women’s Caucus RBG Notorious Servant Award.

Krista enjoys community building and spends much of her free time helping local organizations. A Wauwatosa resident, Krista, and her daughter love walking to the Tosa Village for dinner or events. She enjoys hiking with her girlfriend, traveling, and exploring local and state parks.
