Leah Marie Wise

Leah Wise was born and raised in Primera, Texas, and graduated from Harlingen High School in 2008. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication, with a concentration in Women's and Gender Studies, from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2016.

That same year, Leah founded her own firm with a vision to empower women in law and serve the underrepresented communities of Texas's Rio Grande Valley. She gained national acclaim in 2020 after securing a record-setting settlement. Today, she leads the largest woman-only law firm in the Rio Grande Valley, representing clients across every major city in Texas.

Leah is a member of the State Bar of Texas, admitted to the Federal District Courts of Texas and the Texas Supreme Court. She's active in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Hispanic Women's Network of Texas, Hidalgo County Bar Association, and Women's Bar Association. Her accolades include the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Justice and Legal Advocacy Award (2025) and recognition from Austin Woman magazine and the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas.

Beyond the courtroom, Leah is deeply committed to community impact — funding a $50,000 scholarship endowment for Latina law students, supporting entrepreneurs through WorkWise Coworking Space, and uplifting minority women through the Wise Women Foundation and CrashGal Couture.
