Meet Marc Wites
With more than 28 years of trial and litigation experience, Marc Wites has obtained great results for his clients. He has successfully prosecuted insurance claims on behalf of homeowners and commercial property owners and also recovered several multimillion-dollar jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients in personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has also led the charge in several industry-changing class actions.
Marc and his team are dedicated to battling insurance companies—they’ve been doing it for many years. While he and his team strive to obtain a settlement without filing a lawsuit, they will take the fight to court to if needed to secure a fair settlement. Marc and his team have helped homeowners who were offered $0 from their insurance company recover tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars.
He has appeared in state and federal trial and appellate courts in Florida and throughout the country, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
Marc is a founding shareholder of Wites & Rogers. He is a graduate of The University of Florida College Law, where he served on the law review and the moot court boards. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
Marc has been recognized for his work by Florida Super Lawyers and Martindale-Hubbell. He is also very active in the legal community, authoring the Florida Litigation Guide used by thousands of lawyers since 2001. He wrote the first editions of the New York Litigation Guide and the California Litigation Guide in 2014.
He has also authored the annual treatises “Florida Causes of Action” and “The Florida Civil Litigation Handbook: Actions, Defenses and Evidence and Rules” as well as several articles in legal journals and reviews.
Raised in Coral Springs, Florida, Marc lives in Boca Raton with his family.
