Meet Michael J. Schreyer
Michael J. Schreyer is a seasoned personal injury attorney serving Prince George’s County, bringing more than 36 years of trial experience to his clients. Over the course of more than 2,000 cases and 100 jury trials, he has built a reputation for meticulous preparation and strong courtroom advocacy. His appellate work is equally distinguished, having both overturned and defended trial court outcomes before Maryland’s highest appellate courts.
Mr. Schreyer has shared his insights as a speaker at the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association’s state convention, presenting on recent appellate developments, and has addressed the Maryland Trial Lawyers’ Association on issues affecting traveling employees.
He serves on the Council of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Negligence, Insurance and Workers’ Compensation Section, participates on the Legislative and Amicus Committees for the Maryland Trial Lawyers’ Association, and sits on the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America.
His professional achievements have earned national recognition, including membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum for excellence in civil trial advocacy. Beyond his litigation practice, Mr. Schreyer is active in the bar associations of Charles, St. Mary’s, Calvert, and Prince George’s counties. A graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law, he also contributes his time to the boards of several community service organizations.
