Nick Quincey

Nicholas W. Quincey is the founding attorney of Quincey Law, where he leads the firm’s advocacy against wrongful insurance denials and bad-faith conduct by major insurance companies as well as catastrophic personal injury & accident claims. With deep courtroom experience and a commitment to holding powerful corporations accountable, Mr. Quincey centers his practice on securing fair outcomes for individuals and families who have been mistreated by their insurers. Quincey Law has locations in Dana Point and Rancho Cucamonga, and we have active cases throughout all of California.

Mr. Quincey’s legal career began in public service, where he served as a Deputy District Attorney. Early in his career, and while attending law school, he worked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in both the Major Crimes Unit and Victim Impact Program, and also with the United States Attorney’s Office. These formative experiences sharpened his litigation and trial advocacy skills and laid the groundwork for his transition into insurance litigation.

Personal experiences witnessing loved ones struggle with inadequate insurance responses further inspired Mr. Quincey to devote his practice to insurance bad faith claims. He has since represented clients from diverse backgrounds in disputes with billion-dollar insurers, including wrongful denials involving health, life, disability, and property policies. In addition to insurance litigation, Mr. Quincey handles select personal injury matters, including catastrophic injuries and claims involving wrongful death.

Prior to founding his firm, he honed his insurance bad faith and personal injury expertise at boutique law firms, where he pursued accountability and justice on behalf of individual claimants. Raised in a family rooted in farming and public service, Mr. Quincey brings a strong ethical compass, work ethic, and a belief in respectful, client-focused representation to every case he undertakes.

Mr. Quincey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He is active in professional legal associations and dedicated to advancing the rights of consumers throughout California.
