Meet Nick T. Movagar
Nick T. Movagar is the co-founder and managing partner of M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, where he leads a team of more than 100 professionals dedicated to protecting the rights of injury victims and families affected by wrongful death. Under his leadership, the firm has secured over $1 billion in verdicts and settlements for thousands of clients across California. Nick has been recognized by Super Lawyers, National Trial Lawyers, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and Los Angeles Magazine, and has earned honors including Wrongful Death Attorney of the Year and recognition as one of the nation's Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He has also helped establish innovative community partnerships, including M&Y's groundbreaking collaboration with the Los Angeles Kings.
Nick focuses exclusively on plaintiff personal injury law because he believes injured individuals deserve strong legal advocacy against powerful insurance companies. He represents clients in car, motorcycle, and truck accidents, wrongful death claims, brain injury cases, premises liability matters, and dog bite cases. Before co-founding M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, Nick defended major corporations, providing valuable insight into insurance defense strategies. He earned his Juris Doctor, graduating Cum Laude with Order of the Coif honors from Loyola Law School, where he also served on the Entertainment Law Review and received the Commercial Law Student of the Year Award from the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
