Meet Richard J. Suzuki
Richard J. Suzuki, Esq. is the founding attorney of Suzuki Law Offices, representing clients in criminal defense and personal injury matters throughout Arizona and federal courts nationwide. He is licensed to practice in the State of Arizona, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and multiple United States District Courts, including Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, the Southern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Western District of Washington. He has also represented clients in federal courts in California, Utah, Florida, North Dakota, and Montana.
Based in Phoenix and Tucson, Mr. Suzuki brings significant courtroom experience from both state and federal practice. After graduating from the University of Arizona College of Law, he began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard Fell of the Arizona Superior Court in Pima County. He then served as a criminal prosecutor with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he handled felony cases within the Major Crimes Gang and Repeat Offender Program, trying numerous felony jury trials.
Mr. Suzuki is an active member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Maricopa County Bar Foundation, where he previously served as a Trustee. His professional affiliations include the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, The National Top 100 Trial Lawyers, Southwest Super Lawyers, the Hispanic National Bar Association, Los Abogados, and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
