Stephen Shultz

Stephen R. Schultz is the founding partner of Schultz & Myers Personal Injury Lawyers and has dedicated his legal career to helping injury victims and their families pursue justice. A lifelong St. Louis native, he attended Christian Brothers College High School and the University of Missouri before earning his law degree from Washington University School of Law.

Stephen’s passion for personal injury law stems from personal experience. After suffering severe injuries in a serious car accident as a young adult, he faced a lengthy recovery and firsthand challenges dealing with insurance companies. That experience inspired him to become an attorney and advocate for people facing similar hardships.

For more than 15 years, Stephen has represented clients in a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, pedestrian accidents, dog bites, slip-and-fall injuries, and catastrophic injury claims. He is particularly known for his work in complex commercial trucking and tractor-trailer litigation, handling cases across multiple states and securing significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured clients.

Recognized for his legal skill and dedication, Stephen has earned numerous honors, including designation as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers, membership in the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Outside the courtroom, Stephen is actively involved in charitable organizations and community service. He enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs, spending time with his family, and supporting causes such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and pancreatic cancer research initiatives.
