Tyler E. Raiford

Tyler Raiford joined Wites & Rogers in November 2024, bringing almost a decade of experience representing insurance companies and corporations against property damage, professional liability and general liability claims. He brings this defense knowledge of the ins and outs of how these companies (and their defense representation) evaluate cases to better help the homeowners and injured individuals he represents now at Wites & Rogers.

Today, Tyler works with clients on insurance claims as well as personal injury cases.

The firm has turned many $0 offers from insurance companies into successful verdicts or settlements on behalf of their clients. One roof damage claim from Hurricane Irma, resulting in a $40,000 claim. A water damage claim due to a broken pipe resulted in a $327,000 claim. In total, the firm has recovered millions of dollars for thousands of clients.

Tyler earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law and his undergraduate degree in finance from Florida State University. At Stetson University, he was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution board advocacy team. He was a finalist in numerous national advocacy competitions. He also won the book award for Remedies.

Outside of the office, Tyler spends time with his family and enjoys fishing, golfing and cheering on Florida State University’s football team.
