Meet Craig Fiederlein
Craig R. Fiederlein, a distinguished attorney with nearly three decades of legal experience, serves as a senior partner at CF Legal, PC in Flint, Michigan. Born in New Rochelle, New York, and a graduate of Mahopac High School, Fiederlein cultivated his early interest in both academics and athletics, excelling in baseball, soccer, and tennis while maintaining honors status. His journey in higher education began at Michigan State University, where he graduated with honors in Business Administration in 1993, ranking in the top 5% of his class and earning recognition in both the Golden Key National Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma.
During his academic career, Fiederlein laid the groundwork for his future in real estate law through practical experience, working with Ralph Langsam & Associates in the Bronx and Judicial Title Insurance, where he gained valuable insights into property management and title insurance processes. His legal education at the University of Toledo College of Law was marked by exceptional achievement, graduating cum laude in 1996 after earning a full academic scholarship for placing in the top 10 of his class. As business editor of the University of Toledo Law Review, he demonstrated his scholarly aptitude while also clerking for senior judge George M. Glasser of the Ohio Court of Appeals.
After law school, Fiederlein began his professional career in Clarkston, Michigan, where his dedication and expertise earned him a partnership within just three years. In 1999, he relocated to Grand Blanc, where he expanded his practice to serve the Genesee County and Flint areas. His current practice at CF Legal, PC focuses on three main areas: real estate transactions and litigation, wills, probate and trust administration, and business litigation. His commitment to excellence in these fields is evidenced by his successful recovery of over $1 million for a client in a trust contest and his representation of clients before Michigan's Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Beyond his legal practice, Fiederlein maintains deep connections to his community through various leadership roles. He currently serves as the President of the Genesee County Bar Association for 2024, following a decade of board service. His community involvement extends to his positions on the boards of the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce and the Genesee Landlords Association. As a proud Michigan State University alumnus, he maintains his connection to his alma mater as a season ticket holder for both MSU football and basketball.
A testament to his comprehensive approach to legal practice, Fiederlein obtained his residential builder's license in 2005 to better serve his clients in construction-related matters. His practice, while centered in Flint, extends to an up north location in Frankfort, Michigan, allowing him to serve clients throughout the state. When not practicing law, he finds balance in life through family time, hiking with his golden retriever, and golfing. His extensive bar admissions, including the United States Supreme Court in 2006, and his active memberships in various professional organizations underscore his commitment to legal excellence and community service.
