Ian S. Abovitz

Ian Abovitz serves as a Shareholder and is an integral member of Stark & Stark's Accident & Personal Injury Department. His professional focus centers on handling cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death claims, with a particular emphasis on incidents involving tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles. As a seasoned and assertive litigator, Mr. Abovitz has consistently represented clients in complex legal proceedings across Pennsylvania, both at the state and federal levels.

Cases involving commercial vehicles often demand a substantial commitment of time and resources, coupled with an extensive understanding of federal rules and regulations, which can be overwhelming for many. Prior to joining Stark & Stark, Mr. Abovitz gained valuable experience as an attorney at a defense personal injury law firm in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy Savage at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
