Skylar Weissman

As an of counsel at Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A., Skylar S. Weissman brings his almost three decades of experience at the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office to the benefit of his clients. He focuses his practice on criminal defense, expungement, and juvenile law.

After earning his law degree from Rutgers Law School, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Marshall Selikoff of the Superior Court in Monmouth County. Afterward, he was brought on by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office in Trenton. There he worked as a trial team leader overseeing all criminal cases; he headed the serious crash response team unit; and ended his career there as the chief of homicide, supervising the homicide task force.

He greatly enjoys the work of a trial litigator. He represents individuals charged with all types of crimes, relying on his prior experience as a prosecutor to build defense strategies designed to protect his clients by all means available.
