Meet Todd Julian
I’m a third-generation lawyer. I always wanted to follow in the footsteps of family. My grandfather was a lawyer and a judge in a small town in Missouri. My father was a trial lawyer in Phoenix.
I was born and raised in Phoenix, but earned my Bachelor of Arts and law degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. I had the honor of serving as the editor of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law and received awards from my work in moot court competitions for oral argument and writing skills. In my third year of law school, I received the coveted Jenkes Cup for the best closing argument in the annual contest between the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
After passing the Bar exam, I started at Burch & Cracchiolo in 1989, and I have been here ever since. I was fortunate enough to work with some brilliant mentors and gain significant litigation and trial experience, including brief writing and oral arguments in the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In the early part of my career, I represented insurance companies and businesses in the defense of personal injury claims, which gave me a unique insight now that my practice focuses almost exclusively on representing injury victims and helping them obtain fair compensation.
I have considerable jury trial experience, which helped me qualify to become a board-certified specialist in personal injury and wrongful death by the State Bar of Arizona, and to gain membership in peer-reviewed organizations such as the American Board of Trial Advocates and Southwest Super Lawyers. After 35 years of practice, my greatest satisfaction is providing personal attention to clients and their families and helping them in their time of need.
