MIAMI, FL—Fowler White Burnett is pleased to announce that shareholder Brian D. Elias has been reappointed by Mayor Dan Gelber and the Miami Beach Commission to the City of Miami Beach Planning Board for a two-year term.
The City of Miami Beach Planning Board is comprised of seven members with considerable experience in general business, land development, land development practices, and land use issues. They are responsible for evaluating, considering, and deciding upon applications from real estate developers and citizens for building and growth in the City of Miami Beach.
Elias is a commercial litigator whose practice encompasses a broad range of business litigation and arbitration matters in defense against claims of fraud, breach of contract, negligence, and liability. He has represented clients in state and federal courts involving claims for injunctive relief and damages for violation of restrictive covenants, wrongful/constructive termination, whistleblowing, and raiding.
