The University of California, Irvine School of Law (UCI Law) is thrilled to welcome the Class of 2023, under the direction of Dean and Chancellor’s Professor of Law L. Song Richardson. As of the first day of instruction, the incoming J.D. class consisted of 148 students, with 72 percent identifying as California residents. In addition, 24 percent of the Class of 2023 are the first in their families to graduate from college, 63 percent are female and 53 percent identify as students of color.
