AUSTIN, TX—Austin attorney Nick Bacarisse has been promoted to partner at the Texas appellate firm Alexander Dubose & Jefferson LLP (ADJ).
Mr. Bacarisse has briefed legal issues of broad public importance at every level of Texas and federal courts, and has argued before the Supreme Court of Texas and other appellate courts throughout the state. He has a deep knowledge of Texas’s unique jurisdictional doctrines and the Texas Constitution. Recently, Mr. Bacarisse was the primary drafter of the appellate briefs resulting in the Supreme Court of Texas’s groundbreaking holding that Texas’s electric grid operator shared the state’s sovereign immunity.
