Makenzie Zarate is chief of the DWI trial division of Deandra Grant Law. During a class field trip to the criminal courthouse, while attending Bishop Lynch High School, she realized she wanted to be a criminal defense attorney. Makenzie studied pre-law at Texas Tech University and continued her education at the Texas Tech University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Makenzie enjoys team sports, board games, trivia – and other activities that tailor to her competitive spirit.
