Neil Thomas Proto

Neil Thomas Proto, a lawyer (ret.) in public service (Appellate Lawyer, United States Department of Justice; General Counsel, President’s Nuclear Safety Oversight Committee) and in private practice, taught at Yale and Georgetown’s McCourt Public Policy School and is the author of the award winning Fearless: A. Bartlett Giamatti and the Battle for Fairness in America (2019). In 2015, his play, The Reckoning: Pecora for the Public, was produced in Seattle. He was the chair of SCRAP in 1971and 1972 and the author of the upcoming revised and updated 50th Anniversary Edition of To a High Court: Five Bold Law Students Challenge Corporate Greed and Change the Law.
