BOSTON, MA—Andrew (A.J.) Tibbetts, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, spoke at Trynco’s AI Summit Series Jan. 11 during the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco. He served on the panel “How AI is shaping the healthcare and biopharma industries,” which focused on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) in preventative care, patient outcomes, and drug discovery.
The session was moderated by Pharmillennial Founder and CEO Prateek Jain and discussed the health care and biopharma industry’s AI challenges and potential solutions. Tibbetts discussed intellectual property (IP) for AI in health care, including strategic protection using patents, copyright, and trade secret, and aligning IP strategy to business strategy.
