CHICAGO, IL—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Jose Lopez, a partner in the Securities Litigation practice, has been named office managing partner in Chicago where he will oversee a growing office of over 235 lawyers and business professionals.
Jose joined Perkins Coie in 2012 and has held leadership roles at the firm and within the legal community, including as a current board member of the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms and the Hispanic Lawyers Scholarship Fund of Illinois.
Jose succeeds Rick Sevcik as Chicago managing partner who is continuing his Tax, Benefits, and Compensation practice.
