The practice of law has long been a family business with generations of lawyers following in the footsteps of their predecessors. If the practice of law is a family legacy, we’d like to invite you to participate in our Inaugural Legal Legacy issue.

As part of the issue, Attorney at Law Magazine will highlight a collage of legal legacies by showcasing a lawyer and one member of their family who either inspired their legal practice or the next generation they’re proud to see carrying on the torch.
We will highlight a bit about each attorney’s career and the inspiration or pride they feel in the previous or next generation lawyer in their family.
In addition to the Legacy in Law section, lawyers can share their full story with readers in a feature in the issue. Over the years, we have published some impactful stories from lawyers who have been inspired by generations of lawyers before them as well as lawyers who have been honored to practice law with their family.
Additionally, for this issue, Attorney at Law Magazine will assemble full family trees for those lawyers with generations who have served in the practice of law.
Attorneys and legal professionals can also participate in the issue by submitting editorial for publication.
Attorneys should submit articles by January 1. Submissions will be considered for inclusion in the special issue or for website publication only.
Looking ahead, Attorney at Law Magazine will showcase the community work of lawyers and law firms in Beyond the Courtroom. In Summer 2025, we’ll produce our annual Athletes in Law issue.
